The sun sets late in the summer which is amazing, but sometimes not so great with little ones! One of my clients suggested that I offer sunrise sessions to families with little kids. She explained she usually is up before the sun with them anyways and then no crankiness during those late evening sessions! Cari’s family took me up on this offer one more during their Hilton Head Island vacation and it was beautiful!

Something about sunrise is magical & exciting as we take on a new day. The kids ran around the beach & cuddled close to their parents as they explored in the sand. It was so much fun & made for some absolutely adorable memories.

I offer these sunrise sessions, year round. Waking up to watch the sun rise has always been one of my favorite pastimes on Hilton Head Island, long before I even was a photographer. No sun rise is exactly the same and you’ll always find a few people out with their dogs or riding bikes along the shoreline to share in the beauty.

I have several booked for this upcoming summer and I can’t wait to capture these gorgeous moments by the ocean for families & couples !
