On Hilton Head Island there is a plethora of fun and engaging activities to do, it was so hard to pick our top 5 but here they are …

1. Rent Bikes

Hilton head is saturated with beautiful bike trails that make exploring the island via bicycle the perfect adventure! Not only do you get your exercise in, but you get to bike to all the best spots on the island. Several of our favorite restaurants and bars and bike accessible and have bike racks out front! (try bike riding in sea pines and enjoy harbor town and waterfront restaurants!) 

2. Catch the sunset

Hilton Head has some of the most beautiful sunset views! With several beaches and water side restaurants, enjoying the sunset definitely earns a spot in our top 5 favorite Hilton Head activities. I highly recommend Hudson’s for some of the prettiest sunset views over the water! Or check out The Black Marlin or Carolina Crab Company and check out the sunset at Palmetto Bay Marina (the restaurants are located on the marina).

3. Dolphin tours & fishing trips 

This tiny island has tons to offer when it comes to aquatic activities! One of our many selling points. Hilton Head is also home to a large community of dolphins that live here year-round! One of my favorite activities is enjoying these beautiful animals in their natural habitat. Outside Hilton Head offers a great array of excursions including dolphin tours, fishing trips and a beachcombing cruise! 

4. Salty Dog Cruises 

Continuing in the spirit of water activities, the Salty Dog of Hilton Head offers an amazing happy hour cruise. For those 21 and over, this cruise departs during happy hour and is a great way to enjoy the water and a drink! The cruise includes a 1.5 hour cruise around the calibogue sound and has a special happy hour menu!

5. Explore hidden beaches

Although we love Hilton Heads popular beaches, sometimes it’s nice to explore the hidden gems! Mitchelville, towards the north end is often quiet and secluded, a nice way to catch some serenity and peace and quiet.
