If there is one thing I love to do on Hilton Head Island that is totally free, it is watching the sunrises and sunsets!

Sunrise is gorgeous from Coligny Beach and there is plenty of parking, coffee shops and breakfast spots within walking distance!

I also love sunrise in Sea Pines if you’re lucky enough to stay in their beautiful community. I love getting breakfast at Lowcountry Produce Market or driving by the horses at Lawton Stables on the way out!

Sunrise on Burkes Beach is a perfect spot! During the summer, the sun rises basically right in front of you on the beach.

As for sunset, there are countless restaurants that have gorgeous views of the sunset!

Specifically Hudsons, Coast in Sea Pines, Dockside, Skull Creek Boathouse, Old Oyster Factory, or Crazy Crab on Jarvis Creek.

Mitchelville Beach is also a nice beach to see the sun set !
