Madeline & Ethan naturally had to have a engagement session photographed on the beach on Hilton Head Island because they are lucky enough to live on the ocean mid-island !

When they told me one of their nightly rituals is to go for evening walks all the way down to the folly on Hilton Head Island’s beach, I knew that they were my people !

We had the best time capturing some sweet moments of the couple in their “natural habitat,” if you will :). We even captured some drone shots of them walking along the folly & I love that their footprints showed up in the photos !

How adorable and symbolic of the life they’re starting, together. On top of that, Madeline’s engagement ring is a family heirloom – talk about special !!

I knew we had to have a gorgeous ring shot for her and what better way than balanced on a champagne cork with Madeline & Ethan’s silhouettes in the sunset.

I am so excited to travel to Ethan’s home town on the coast of North Carolina *insert Nicolas Sparks movie here* to celebrate these two, this weekend !!
