Walking or biking on Hilton Head Island’s miles of gorgeous beaches is one of our favorite things to do! There is nothing like watching dolphins on the horizon line & enjoying a nature walk. BUT I always find myself wanting a refreshment while on the beach.

These beach bars are amazing and all give you that ISLAND-feel. Whether you want a classic frozen drink or some rum punch, these places are so fun & all accessible from the beach!

Coast Oceanfront Dining

Coast is in Sea Pines so this is the one spot that you would have to be in Sea Pines ($10 pass at their gate) to spend the day in there. I love Coast to grab a drink at their bar overlooking the beach OR it is excellent food as well. They have live music often & it is such a pretty beach to explore as well.

Cocos on the Beach

Cocos on the Beach is your classic island beach bar! They have incredible frozen drinks for kids and adults! Yummy food like cheeseburgers and you can watch volleyball games right on the beach. Cocos is one of 3 beach bars close together so you could bike / walk to Cocos & the next two that I mention (at low tide)

Sea Salts

Sea Salts is probably my personal favorite! This is a Hilton Head Island beach bar that is part of the Marriott Surfwatch and you can walk right up off of Driessen/Burkes beach & enjoy some delicious french fries & a frozen cocktail!

Jamaica Joes

Jamaica Joes is part of the Hilton Head Island Beach & Tennis Resort & a great spot to walk up off the beach for a mudslide or lunch!

Tiki Hut

Tiki Hut is a Hilton Head Island favorite beach bar. Watch volleyball matches on Coligny beach while enjoying live music.

Pool Bar Jims

Pool Bar Jims is at the Seacrest resort and famous for their fresh fruit frozen drinks! They have hundreds of amazing island drink recipes from “Jim” who is often behind the bar. Amazing food as well! I love their mojito with fresh mint.

I definitely recommend checking hours and calling these beach bars before to ensure they are open as many have seasonal hours! 🙂 ENJOY!!
