Booking Your Session

We’ll work with you to choose the perfect date, time, and location for your session. Whether you prefer the golden hour glow of a sunset beach session or the soft morning light under the oaks. I shoot at 2 oak tree locations as well as every Hilton Head Beach.

Personalizing Your Experience

About 10 days before your scheduled session, you’ll receive a detailed questionnaire. This allows us to learn more about your family—your kids’ names, your wants and needs, and any special considerations that will help us capture your family’s unique essence. Whether it’s making shy children feel comfortable or planning poses that highlight your family’s personality, this step ensures a session that’s as enjoyable as it is memorable while enjoying the beauty of your vacation. Of course there is always time for candids in the ocean, too :).

The Day of Your Session

Our sunset beach sessions are designed to be relaxed, fun, and stress-free. Here’s how it unfolds:

The First Half: Lowcountry Charm in the Dunes
We begin in the dunes, surrounded by the iconic sea oats and the golden light of the setting sun. This is the perfect time to capture intimate family moments, candid laughter, and the natural beauty of Hilton Head Island’s landscapes.

The Second Half: Magic by the Water
As the sun dips closer to the horizon, we make our way to the shoreline. Whether it’s the cotton candy skies, crashing waves, or reflections in the wet sand, this is where the magic happens. We’ll capture a mix of posed portraits and spontaneous moments as your family plays and connects by the water. We shoot as long as the light allows, giving you the flexibility to choose how much or how little time you’d like to spend in front of the camera.

The Final Touch: Your Online Gallery

Within 2-3 weeks of your session, you’ll receive a link to your high-resolution, print-ready photos in a beautiful online gallery. The gallery is shareable, making it easy to send to family and friends. Whether you’re printing portraits for your home or sharing memories on social media, your images will be timeless treasures to cherish forever.
